The Gray Coast Guildhall is a space for gathering, creating, organizing, and performing. Our home is the Old Theater Building in Quilcene, Washington, on traditional Twana & S’Klallam territory.
Gray Coast Guildhall holds space to generate and nourish radical and DIY arts, culture, organizing, and resistance on the Olympic Peninsula. We operate through collective decision making and mutual aid, and oppose all forms of oppression. All of our public events are all-ages with entrance by donation – we do not turn anyone away at the door for lack of funds.
The Old Theater Building
The Gray Coast Guildhall was founded in 2018, with the historic Old Theater Building as our home. Built circa 1930, the Old Theater has been a storied part of Quilcene for nearly a century. At various times it has served as a movie theater, church, speakeasy, artist collective, thrift shop, doggy daycare, lumber mill, recording studio, music venue, and much more. We are honored to steward this treasured building for all to enjoy.
